The Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027 extends federal funding at largely current levels through December 11, 2026. The Senate passed it 90-6 in August, the House passed it 370-48 on September 1, and it was signed on September 2. Without it, funding for most federal agencies would have lapsed on October 1, the start of the fiscal year.
